Al E. Matubis, Juvialski in the Discord, is a web and app developer in Marilao, Bulacan. He came to development sideways: he was a math teacher for 8 years before shifting into building software, and the teacher's instincts show in the work he picks, tools for schools, classrooms, and engineers.
He builds mainly with Codex, his agent for building applications, fixing bugs, testing, and automating workflows, with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude for planning and research. Most of his projects started as personal builds, things he wanted to see whether he could make with AI coding tools.
The shipped list is real and varied: GuroDesk, a DepEd teacher workspace for lesson planning and assessments; a real-time collaborative whiteboard; HydroQualiSense, a platform for a water-focused engineering company; and CurioVector Lab, his YouTube channel of science experiments and physics simulations made with AI-assisted animation. He can start immediately.

GuroDesk
GuroDesk calls itself a DepEd teacher workspace, built for Philippine public-school teachers, and its promise is a teacher's promise: less paperwork, more time to teach. It unifies curriculum-aware lesson planning (DLL and DLP aligned to DepEd K-12 and Matatag), automated Tables of Specifications, DepEd assessments, and an assessment checker with instant answer sheet scoring, item analysis, and remediation.
It was built by the right person: Al taught math for 8 years before he wrote software, so the paperwork GuroDesk removes is paperwork he has personally done. A demo mode lets teachers open a sample workspace and preview it locally before committing.
Real-time · Collaboration
Collaborative Whiteboard
The Whiteboard Workspace is a real-time drawing and collaboration app: multiple users work on the same canvas at once, in shared rooms, each with a collaborator profile and their own cursor color, with edits appearing to other students in real time. It is connected to Supabase underneath.
Even his collaboration tool leans educational: it has Student Mode and Teacher Mode, and teachers can launch boards for their classes. The classroom keeps following him into the software, in a good way.
Engineering · Company platform
HydroQualiSense
HydroQualiSense is an engineering management platform for organizing projects, workflows, and operations, built for a water-focused engineering company: HydroQualiSense Solutions Corp, working across water treatment, water management, and related engineering projects.
The public site carries the company's services, projects, and a client portal, the professional face of the platform. It is his most corporate build: an engineering company's operations, given a system.
Creator · Science on YouTube
CurioVector Lab
CurioVector Lab is Al's YouTube channel of science experiments, physics simulations, and AI-assisted animations, under a tagline a teacher would write: see what makes the world move. Its videos ask questions like whether a ball can bounce higher than it was dropped, and then show the physics.
He also runs his own AI-assisted YouTube Shorts and TikTok content, and experiments with content automation. It is the same loop as his app work: pick a thing worth explaining, then build the tool that explains it.
