Full-time at NuDoors · Building AI apps daily
Daryl Belhida is a full-stack web and mobile developer from Talibon, Bohol, a BSIT graduate building AI-powered apps with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, React Native for mobile, and Firebase and Node.js underneath. He has used AI for development and creative work for almost four years, and he works full-time at NuDoors.
He is one of only two people in the entire applicant pool who has actually used Muse by Meta, and the first to run a recurring task inside it: a cron job that collects AI news, tools, and examples for website and course projects and summarizes them every Monday. His main coding agent is OpenAI Codex, used the way agents are supposed to be used: investigate an issue, run automated tests, implement the change, verify the result. He also builds apps integrating OpenAI and Google Gemini.
At NuDoors he built nuVision, the AI kitchen visualizer, on a platform with booking, lead capture, and admin reporting. He also built Luminant Labs (LumiLabs), an AI-powered personalized coloring-book platform, and has released AI music with millions of streams. He can start immediately, is flexible on hours and comfortable on US hours, and is happy to do the paid trial.

NuDoors
NuDoors is a cabinet refacing company with a software heart: customers keep their existing cabinet boxes and get new custom doors, drawer fronts, and hardware, most kitchens done in about three days instead of a weeks-long replacement. Daryl works there full-time as a developer, on the platform that sells and runs it: booking, lead capture, and admin reporting alongside the customer-facing tools.
His portfolio lists the same company from the builder's side: kitchen visualization, contractor tools, and the systems underneath the first screen.
AI product · Kitchen visualization
nuVision
nuVision is the AI piece: upload a photo of your kitchen, explore cabinet styles and colors, and the AI renders your new kitchen and estimates your cabinet sizes and project pricing, without measuring a thing. No appointment, no measuring, no pressure, as the site puts it: the estimate a salesperson used to produce on a home visit, generated from a photo instead.
It is a complete product loop, not a demo: photo in, styles explored, price out, and the lead captured for the business behind it. This is the work he points to first, and it is easy to see why.

LumiLabs: photos into coloring books
Luminant Labs, which presents itself as LumiLabs, turns family, friends, or pets into a printed coloring book: upload one photo, the AI draws a whole book of adventures from it, you preview every page before you pay, and the printed book is mailed to your door. Underneath the charm sits a real commerce system: image-generation workflows, payments, subscriptions, and print-on-demand fulfillment.
The product details are all live on the site: a first book free to make, 24 pages with a cover, four art styles and hundreds of adventure scenarios, printed books at $19.99 with bulk pricing for events. It is his most complete independent product: AI generation, a storefront, and physical fulfillment in one system.
Portfolio · Web and mobile
Twelve projects deep
His portfolio holds 12 projects, and the spread is the story: web platforms and visualization tools in React and Next.js with TypeScript, Firebase, and APIs; mobile applications in React Native, including Voizz, a communication app, and TimeCub, a parental control app; and connected systems, IoT and embedded work, data dashboards, and hardware integration.
His own summary of the background: kitchen visualization, contractor tools, personalized coloring books, mobile apps, and connected hardware. Whether writing an app or troubleshooting a system, he says, he cares about the person on the other side of the screen.
Creative · AI video and music
Video and music, through code
The creative work runs through the same agent workflow as the software: he creates and edits videos through code, with ElevenLabs MCP for voiceovers and Veo for video generation. And he makes AI music: a Suno jingle of his won a college competition, and music he released through Amuse reached nearly 3 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, and YouTube.
He tells the whole story himself, including the ending: the AI covers were later removed and the Amuse account banned. Volunteering the bad half of your best story is a trust signal money cannot buy, and it matches how he works in code: investigate, implement, verify, report.
