Mary is starting a security guard company in Raleigh, staffed by retired police officers. Her demo brand is Raleigh Guardian Security. The company is pre-launch: licensing runs through the NC PPSB, and her launch budget is $10,000.

Sam is the founder and CEO of Valletta Industries, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that provides tactical training, human performance, and security support to the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial customers. Contracts include FBI tactical vehicle operations training and a $3.3M human performance award. Sam is a former Navy SEAL officer who taught Leadership and Ethics at the US Naval Academy; his undergrad is Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and his MBA is from Cornell. He lives in Covington, Louisiana.

Website analysis, Oct 24, 2026:

• Heavy homepage: about 1.1 MB and roughly 4.4 seconds to load in our check. It is a Wix build, and the weight shows.
• Strong trust signals: Texas and Louisiana security license numbers sit right on the homepage, the services are clear, and there is a working contact form.
• Biggest miss: Sam himself is nowhere on the homepage. No founder story, no leadership presence. His SEAL and Naval Academy instructor background is the company's best sales asset and a visitor never sees it.
• Thin hero: "Built By Operators / Professional Services" undersells a real federal contract record.

HOME (Helping Our Music Evolve) is Nashville's studio hub at Center 615, 615 Main St: 24/7 recording, rehearsal, and coworking, 150+ members and 1,900+ creators online. Founded by Logan Crowell, who Dave knows as Banks. Book by the hour with no membership required, memberships from $99 a quarter. The Studio has done data work for HOME and lists it as a pro bono client.
