Sally the CEO Heartfelt

It opens like a corporate video. Then Sally takes a walk, and it becomes the truest thing we have ever made. 5 scenes, about 2 minutes.

The Idea

Why this film

Every studio has a CEO video. Polished desk, big plans, words like synergy. Sally sat down to make ours, got about twenty seconds in, and could not do it. Not because the plans are not real. They are. But they are not the reason.

So she picked up the camera, went for a walk in the park, and told the truth instead: where she comes from, what it cost, and why this studio exists. This is that video. It starts as a pitch and ends as a promise, and it is the first thing we want people to see when they ask what The Studio is really about.

Scene 1

The Desk

0:00 - 0:25

Sally at the big desk, blazer on, hair perfect, the Studio humming behind her. She delivers the corporate version, and she is good at it. That is the point: she could sell this. It is just not the whole story.

SALLY (to camera, polished): "Welcome to The Studio. We are building a film studio that makes stories the whole family can feel. This year we are shipping more films, more music, more everything. Let me tell you about our roadmap..."

Shoot it straight and glossy: tripod, good light, lower third with her name and title. Let it feel like every other CEO video for exactly as long as it needs to.

Scene 2

The Wobble

0:25 - 0:40

Mid-sentence, she stops. A small laugh at herself. She looks at the camera the way you look at a friend, and the performance quietly steps aside.

SALLY: "Okay, hold on. Can I just be clear with you guys? Like, actually clear? Come on. Walk with me."

The cut lives here: she reaches for the camera and the glossy picture becomes a handheld vlog in one move. No music sting. Keep her laugh in.

Scene 3

The Park Walk

0:40 - 1:20

The park, morning light, Sally walking and talking to the camera like it is one person she trusts. This is the heart of the film, and she does not dress it up.

SALLY: "Honestly? I lost my mom when I was a kid. And my dad, he was busy all the time, working, doing his best, but busy. So a lot of growing up was just... me, figuring it out. It was really difficult, you know? I am not saying that for pity. I am saying it because it is the reason for all of this."

Handheld, natural sound, no score under her. Let the pauses stay. If she tears up, do not cut away; this scene is why the film exists.

Scene 4

The Fuel

1:20 - 1:45

Still walking. The sadness turns into drive, and you can hear the CEO come back, except now she is standing on something real.

SALLY: "That fuel, that is what built this studio. I know what it feels like to be a kid who needs a story that understands her. So we are going to make those stories. Films that really connect with people. Real stories, about real feelings. That is the whole business plan, honestly. The rest is just scheduling."

She can smile here. The small laugh on "the rest is just scheduling" is the bridge back to joy; let it land.

Scene 5

The Promise

1:45 - 2:00

She stops walking. One quiet beat, straight to camera, and then she heads back toward the Studio. End on the building, morning light, the day starting.

SALLY: "So that is who is building this place. Now you know. Okay. Back to work. We have films to make, and some kid out there is waiting for one of them."

Title card after: SALLY THE CEO, then the Studio mark. No tagline. The video was the tagline.

Production Notes

Getting it made

Two locations, one morning: the CEO desk setup at the Studio, and a park walk in good light. Sally is drawn from her official character sheet, as always, so she looks like herself in both halves.

The rules of the piece: the desk half gets full polish, the park half gets none. Handheld camera, real park sound, and her real pace. Audio gets the usual care: every line loud and clear, checked before it ships.

Status: on the desk, sections set, ready to produce. Next step is the desk scene, then the park walk.
