His story

Zach McNamara is a Denver comedian who turned the hardest question in comedy into a show: Would You Rather, live on stage. His Barcast Comedy nights at The Midnight Toad pit comedians against each other in a Jeopardy-style battle of absurd choices, fight questions, cash challenges, and wild cards. It is fast, it is ridiculous, and the audience keeps coming back.

Every show ends the same way: Zach gives a brand-new toaster to someone in the crowd. The toaster is his mascot, his merch, his whole philosophy in one appliance. Show up, laugh hard, leave with something warm.

Off stage he is half of the Barcast Comedy Podcast with his co-host OldSchoolCurt, answering crazy would-you-rather questions weekly for 6,300 subscribers on YouTube. He has been seen on ESPN2, survived a cardboard boat race at Pirate Fest with the Space Monkey Pirates, and remains, as far as anyone can tell, undefeated at making a room full of strangers laugh.
