Sally is a character in the E2 universe we are writing and creating. The early idea: she lost her mom when she was just two years old, to a rare disease. Her dad, a stockbroker in New York City, grew distant and was rarely around. It was a difficult upbringing, but she found her way through it in song. Music is how she connects with people.

I grew up in shadows, a house with no sound, No arms there to catch me when I hit the ground. Cold nights creeping in under my door, But I learned how to stand, I kept wanting more. No lullabies, no one to defend, So I made my own rules, became my own friend. Every step forward, a mountain to climb, Now I say to myself, yeah, that life was mine.

I am strong, stronger than I knew, Faced every storm and I made it through. I love me, I finally see, I'm everything they said I'd never be. I choose kindness, though I've known pain, I rise up every time I break again. I've come this far, I won't run, Look at me now... what I've become.
