What it was
Over the past year, there was a project called Pirate Island. It had a Discord with 5,000 people in it.
It was kind of unsuccessful. Things went wrong. But a lot was learned.
Dave was a big active member of Pirate Island. Not a mascot, not a figurehead. An actual member, in it, building with the crew.
Harsh was a member too.
Then there was drama and problems. That is the true story, told straight. No myth-making, no legends. Just what happened: a real thing, built by real people, that did not work out the way anyone hoped.
This page is the archive. Every image below is from the actual project files.
The world
The real Pirate Island world, straight from the project files. The island, the buildings, the places.

The analysis
Pirate Island was kind of unsuccessful. Things went wrong. A Discord with 5,000 people, a whole world built, and it still did not work out.
But a lot was learned. The world-building, the characters, the music, the videos: all of it is real work that exists because this project happened. Nothing here is wasted. It is all in the archive now, and the archive is the point of this page.
The lessons are still being written. When Dave names them, they will go here.
