🗓️ The next 90 days
From the Two Year Vision doc. Proof, not scale.
October: proof of soul
Short Bus script v1 gets finished. The EP tracklist gets locked. The public Studio dashboard v1 ships. Books move: A Few Thoughts review, Kindness keeps its rhythm, the kids book locks. Everything framed as Dlaney Season 1.
November: produce and open the doors
We produce the Short Bus EP. Real hired vocalists start recording and the catalog starts sounding like a label. We launch the first audience ritual. Partnerships start converting.
December: release and gather stories
We release the Short Bus EP, fully open source. We stage a 30-minute workshop version and record the reactions. We collect the first 10 real audience stories. We publish the 90-day story.
🔭 The two-year vision
October 2026 – September 2028. Three pillars: touch lives, world-class music, make a little money.
Touch lives
One stranger says our music moved them. Then ten. Then hundreds of messages on record, a living Letters to Sally community, Short Bus performed for real audiences of kids and families.
World-class music
The sketchpad becomes the studio. Real instruments, real vocalists, real mixes. A catalog we are genuinely proud of, vinyl on shelves, and a production operation that runs like a real label.
Make a little money
Not empire money. Books sell, flat-fee releases where the artist keeps 100% of royalties, maybe a paid supporter tier. The projects pay for themselves and the mission has a bank account that grows.
Year one: prove it
Two albums finished and pressed on vinyl. The world's first fully open source record label goes live. Dlaney Season 2 on real instruments. Short Bus on a real stage. The books close in public.
Year two: compound it
Outside artists release on the label. Short Bus gets licensed to schools. The best-sounding record we have ever made. We publish the two-year story: every song, every dollar, every lesson, every life touched.
