Legal
We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we will tell you exactly what we do with what we have. That is the whole policy. The rest is details.
Last updated: October 10, 2026
We collect three kinds of information, and only when there is a reason:
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not buy data about you from brokers. If we ever changed this, we would tell you first and ask.
We use a small number of cookies, mostly for analytics (understanding aggregate traffic) and for remembering basic preferences. Nothing exotic. Your browser can block or delete cookies; the sites will still work, just a little less smoothly.
A few trusted services help us run things, and they have their own privacy policies:
We do not control their policies, and we encourage you to read them. We choose vendors carefully and give them the minimum access needed to do their job.
Analytics data is kept in aggregate form. Emails and order records are kept as long as reasonably needed to run the business (for example, to handle refunds or answer follow-ups), then deleted or anonymized. If you ask us to delete your data, we will, subject to anything the law requires us to keep (like tax records).
Our sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Dave@Tugboat.io and we will take care of it. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the EU or California), we honor those rights.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it somewhere visible. The current version always lives at this URL.
Questions about privacy: Dave@Tugboat.io. Our full terms of service live at thestudio.io/legal/.
