What interns do

No coffee runs. No busywork. Interns at The Studio ship real work on a live site and a live record label, across four crafts:

Music

Help produce, arrange, and release real songs on the label. Your work goes out to real listeners.

Build and ship pages on thestudio.io, a site that deploys daily. Your code goes live the same day you write it.

Video

Shoot, edit, and publish music videos, animations, and social clips that reach a real audience.

Marketing

Run real campaigns, grow real channels, and learn what actually moves numbers in public.

Everything we make is open source, so every project you touch becomes a public portfolio piece with your name on it. Future employers do not have to take our word for it. They can click it.

Pay

$15 / hour

Starting pay for every intern, plus bonuses for great work. Do excellent work and you earn more. Simple as that.

Learn directly from Dave

Dave is a serial founder. He built a tech company from scratch to 25 million people and 500 million views, then sold it. He spent years in Silicon Valley in the startup world. Today he runs The Studio, the world's first fully open source record label, plus companies across music, software, and consulting. Interns learn directly from him: how he builds, how he decides, how he operates. A working masterclass, not a lecture.
