Her story

How she got here.

I'm Sally. I'm sixteen. I sing for The Studio.

I grew up in a house that wasn't safe, with a father whose anger filled every room. Singing started as the way I got through it. I write songs in a notebook I hide under my mattress and record voice memos at 2 a.m. because I'm embarrassed for anyone to hear me sing.

Dlaney heard me through a wall once and didn't make it weird. Now I sing for the kids who went through what I went through, the ones who need to hear that someone made it to the other side.

If my songs find the kid I used to be, that's everything.
